Yes, transfer to the 79th ODSHB is possible from another military unit. The procedure requires approval from the command of the unit you wish to transfer from. Military personnel on mandatory service and those with a record of unauthorized absence (UA) will not be able to transfer.

You can join the 79th Separate Tavriia Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 18 to 58 years old.
Candidates must not have a criminal record. All candidates undergo a mandatory medical examination that determines fitness for military service. Additionally, future soldiers must have good physical fitness and be physically capable of performing basic infantry tasks.
No, combat experience is not required, but it may be an advantage when joining.
